Abstract
âºWe report a simple and rapid analytical method for total iodine in seawater using SF-ICP-MS. âºSeawater was 100-fold diluted with 0.5% TMAH prior to analysis. âºLow detection limit of 0.23 ng mlâ 1 in original seawater was obtained. âºThe developed method was applied for the determination of total iodine in Japanese coastal seawaters in 14 estuaries.
