Abstract
: Low sensitivity and the importance of cross-reactions with EMIT illustrates the need for a confirmation of a positive result using GC-MS. The sensitivity of 53 % is explained by the cut-off of EMIT to 50ng/mL. EMIT has a specificity of 83 %; wich is explained by cross-reactivity.
