Abstract
Flow cytometry analysis has become more and more sophisticated over time and is now classically designed as “multiparametric”. Conventional biparametric displays have recently been complemented by new tools taking into account the multidimensional spaces integrating all characteristics of each cell studied. The highly complex data generated by mass cytometry induced the development of new paradigms applicable also to flow cytometry. This review paper describes such new technologies and provides some examples of novel applications.
