Abstract
Detecting the presence of a marking is performed using a UV lamp, except for banknote staining ink which is clearly visible. The product code reading is performed in a lab using some different analytical techniques (ICP-MS, SEM, pyrosequencing, sequencing, genotyping, optical observationâ¦), depending on the type of built-in coding system (mineral, biological, physicalâ¦) Those new technologies are named forensic tagging systems.
