Abstract
This paper focuses on the problem of position tracking control for field-oriented induction motors with parameter uncertainties and load torque disturbance. Fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the nonlinearities and an adaptive backstepping technique is employed to construct controllers. The proposed adaptive fuzzy controllers guarantee the tracking error converge to a small neighborhood of the origin. Compared with the conventional backstepping, the designed fuzzy controllers’ structure is very simple. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
