Abstract
With the emergence of highly resistant bacteria, the French ministry of health and social affairs has issued updated guidelines in collaboration with the French Society for hospital hygiene (SF2H) and the High Council for Public Health (HCSP). The epidemic risk increases continuously and the management of cases and contacts is very difficult to implement. Therefore, screening patients at risk is very important and laboratories should write clear procedures in coordination with the operational hygiene team (EOH), the nosocomial infections control committee (CLIN) and their reference university laboratory (CHU). The difficulty lies in the broad range of available options offered to clinical biologists to implement the screening. The purpose of this work is to present a proposal as it was carried out at the GCS de Biologie de l'Arc Jurassien taking into account the state of the art, the feasibility and the performance of the tools.
