Aspects biologiques de la leishmaniose viscérale infantile

Visceral leismaniasis is a parasitic disease common in children. The incidence have increased in the area of Fez (Morocco) on the past few years. Indeed, 31 patients were recruited in our laboratory during the period stretching between march and december 2009. We will update on epidemiological, clinical and especially biological aspects of this infection.
