Abstract
As clinical exams and ultrasound screening the biological monitoring during pregnancy is of primary importance in order to detect and to prevent maternal or fetal adverse outcome. In France, the supervision of pregnancy is advocated by reglementary texts, laws and professional recommendations. Laboratory tests may be obligatory or performed to address conditions or complications arising during pregnancy. We have (i) summarized the laboratory tests to carry out at specified times throughout the pregnancy. We have also (ii) emphasized the impact of the normal pregnancy on biological parameters (iii) and highlighted the clinical interest of the pregnancy-related tests.
