Abstract
Laboratory studies have shown interesting but complex results due to the antigenic relationship, demonstrated by immunoblot, between nematodes of the same superfamily: A. simplex and Toxocara canis. At the present time the only way to avoid contracting anisakiasis is to stop any consumption of raw or cooked parasitized seafish, which will allow the disappearance of clinical symptoms particularly urticaria.
