Abstract
A technical evaluation has been performed about three fully automated random access analysers for coagulometric, chromogenic or immunologic measurements (ACL TOP®, BCS® and STA-R Evolution®). That was in order to make a choice for the replacement of two analysers in our coagulation laboratory. The same model of special technical specifications was applied to those three analysers. We focused on the tests performed, the arguments used for the final choice, as well as on the particularities and the technical performances of each analyser.
