Abstract
This material evidence is ⪠highlighted â« depending on the substrate, thanks to miscellaneous physical, chemical or physicochemical techniques. These may be used alone or sequentially. Once latent fingerprints and/or palmar are revealed, these are discriminated by the expert either with an fingerprint comparator or using the DMA® system (Desktop Morpho AFIS [Automatic Fingerprint Indentification System]) against available files. When twelve points (minutiae) correlate between two prints, a person is identified without a doubt : there is individualization.
