Abstract
To avoid the set in of resistance, the next antimalarial drugs will be associations, as atovaquone and proguanil (4 tablets/d/3d), without side-effects. Another assocation artemisinin and lumefantrin will be available soon. The cerebral malaria needs intravenous quinine 1 to 2g/d. The vaccination is still in the stage of research.
