Abstract
In the present study, we had reported a probe HPO for the Zn2+ ion based on CHEF mechanism and ICT process, which impelled a “on-off” type response in fluorescence spectra. Further, for the first time, the HPO-Zn2+ ensemble demonstrated high selectivity and sensitivity toward TA via Zn2+ displacement approach in the same buffered medium. Probe HPO was also found to be reversible and recyclable toward Zn2+ and TA over more than six cycles and responded to a logic circuit. Furthermore the probe HPO could also detect Zn2+ and TA in the living Hela cells.164
