Abstract
A scheme for the spectrofluorimetric assay of formylmethylflavin and its alkaline hydrolysis products is presented. The method involves chloroform extraction at the initial stage and assay of its two side-chain cleavage products in chloroform extract and one of side-chain and two of isoalloxazine ring cleavage products in aqueous phase independently at their respective fluorescence maxima.53
