Abstract
A new fluorescence chemosensor based on quinoline-base Schiff base was synthesized, which displays high selectivity, high sensitivity, good linear relationship and low detection limit (8.08â¯Ãâ¯10â8â¯mol/L). The application of probe was demonstrated by fluorescence spectrometry in real sample and bioimaging in cells. DFT calculations offered optimized geometry and theoretical basis for the sensing mechanism.155
