Abstract
Synthesis, characterization, DNA binding and pBR322 cleavage studies of enantiomeric L- and D-benzothiazole Schiff base-valine Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes were investigated. L-enantiomeric Cu(II) complex recognize minor groove and cleave DNA via oxidative pathway.
