Abstract
- Chiroptical properties of homo and hetero Ag(I)-mediated pairs of C and G were studied.
- Self-assembling was observed simultaneously with Ag(I)-mediated pairs formation.
- Self-assembling of C-Ag(I)-C dimer has similar quadruplex structure as i-motif of DNA.
- Formation of the hetero Ag(I)-mediated pairs of G and C was observed at pH 10.0.
- At neutral pH formation of homo pairs G-Ag-G is more preferable then hetero G-Ag-C.
