Abstract
A quantum dots-based dual-emission fluorescence probe for the visual detection of Hg2+ has been developed. The proposed probe exhibits a high selectivity and sensitivity for Hg2+. The probe has been used in the determination of Hg2+ in biological fluids with satisfactory results.
