Abstract
► A cutting edge method for sorting explosive fingerprints using LIBS is presented. ► Features from spectra reveal patterns to build models for classes' distribution. ► Using a decision tree improves the performance of sorting tasks (errors<10%). ► Complex and abstract interpretations as from other chemometric tools are avoided.
