Abstract
► A highly sensitive, rapid, simple and selective method was developed for determination of Cu(II). ► The proposed method provides a very low detection limit and faster than previous methods. ► The proposed methodology offers an environmentally friendly procedure. ► The system could become the preferred method for analysis of Cu(II) contaminated in food samples.
