Abstract
⺠UV-LIBS provide higher reproducibility than IR-LIBS for calcified sample calibration. ⺠UV-LIBS plasma conditions are more stable than IR-LIBS for calcified reference samples. ⺠UV-LIBS showed reduced matrix effects as shown from the stark broadening of Mg (I). ⺠Bone ash is a suitable standard for calcified tissue calibration using UV-LIBS.
