Abstract
► Ionic liquid-linked dual microextraction (IL-DMME) was developed through the combination of DLLME and D-μ-SPE. ► Toxic disperser and surface chemical modification on magnetic nanoparticles were not needed. ► Four pyrethroids in honey samples were determined. ► Experimental factors were assessed and optimized with the aid of response surface methodology. ► Recoveries and LODs are comparable with other methods.
