Abstract
► Ultrasonic nebulization was used to extract flavour compounds. ► Ionic liquid was used as extraction solvent in SDME. ► IL-based SDME coupled with GC-MS was applied to determination of flavour compounds. ► In HS-SDME, large volumes of microdrop can be suspended. ► By heating the extraction vessel, the semivolatile compounds can be extracted.
