Abstract
⺠A new microcapillary impedimetric sensor for detergent determination is proposed. ⺠The sensor responds to the adsorption of anionic as well as non-ionic surfactants. ⺠The functional mechanism is based on changes in surface conductivity due to a detergent adsorption. ⺠The detection limit is 3-5 ppm of a detergent even in water with high electrolyte conductivity.
