Abstract
► Efficient CPE system for uranium coupled to ICP-MS with high preconcentration factor. ► Highly acidic extraction enhanced the selectivity by limiting hydroxide precipitation. ► Extraction below room temperature and CPT was found to be optimal. ► Highly saline media were not found to interfere with extraction. ► Great extraction efficiencies and recoveries were demonstrated with H2DEH[MDP].
