Abstract
⺠A thin layer-based amperometric (TLA) detection protocol was developed. ⺠The TLA detection was applied to the immunoassay of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). ⺠The TLA immunoassay can be easily completed within 25 min. ⺠The performance of the TLA test was assessed for RSV detection in clinical respiratory samples. ⺠The TLA assay compared favorably with commercial immunofluorescent tests and real-time PCR.
