Abstract
⺠PHWE is a simple and fast extraction procedure. ⺠Time treatment required is 9 min. ⺠Extracting solution addition and filtration is automated. ⺠The major water-soluble Br and I species are Brâ and IO3â. ⺠Twenty percent (total Br) and 11 percent (total I) may be soluble.
