Abstract
⺠An improved method to isolate saccharides from dairy and soy is presented. ⺠Sequential C18 followed by ion-exchange SPE is employed. ⺠Saccharides are demonstrated not to be retained on either SPE media. ⺠The method eliminates heating steps which may compromise oligosaccharide integrity. ⺠Applications to dairy, soy, and soy beverage authenticity are presented.
