Abstract
► An improved method to isolate saccharides from dairy and soy is presented. ► Sequential C18 followed by ion-exchange SPE is employed. ► Saccharides are demonstrated not to be retained on either SPE media. ► The method eliminates heating steps which may compromise oligosaccharide integrity. ► Applications to dairy, soy, and soy beverage authenticity are presented.
