Abstract
⺠A porous hydrophilic poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate-based monolithic column was prepared and characterized. ⺠The PEG-functionalized monolith as a novel stationary phase for normal phase liquid chromatography. ⺠Comparable retentivity to silica-based media or comparable efficiency to other polymer monolithic media. ⺠Its dual retention capability makes the various chromatographic modes possible.
