Abstract
⺠Quantification of mercapturate of acrylonitrile (ACN) and cyanoethylene-epoxide (CEO) in urine. ⺠The applied method is fully automated, highly precise, accurate and sensitive. ⺠Higher levels of urinary acrylonitrile metabolites in smokers compared to non-smokers. ⺠Mean excretion of CEO-mercapturate is 13% compared to the ACN-mercapturate.
