Abstract
⺠The determination of nitrite based on the chemical generation of NO was performed. ⺠A HR-CS spectrometer was used for the detection. ⺠The method was applied to the analysis of different water samples. ⺠The results were in agreement with those obtained by a spectrophotometric method.
