Abstract
⺠A new sorbent was prepared by functionalization of magnetie nanoparticles. ⺠A recently synthesized Schiff base was used for functionalization of nanoparticles. ⺠The prepared sorbent was characterized by different methods. ⺠The sorbent was used to the preconcentration of trace amounts of several cations.
