Abstract
► We applied a new FIA system with hydrothermal reactor (HT-FIA) to Ru analysis. ► HT-FIA accelerates over 1000-fold the complexation of Ru with 1,10-phenanthroline. ► HT-FIA enables high-throughput analysis of 10 samples per 10 min. ► The detection limit of Ru was 5.3×10−7 M Ru in 100 μL sample. ► Classical analytical reactions are still useful for sophisticated analytical methods.
