Abstract
⺠We propose an authentication method for (Rochefort 8°) beers. ⺠FT-IR spectra of a set of 267 beers were measured. ⺠Extensive chemometric analysis of the spectra allowed for identification of Rochefort 8° beers. ⺠Correct prediction abilities well above 90% were obtained. ⺠The method is a cheap and competitive alternative to previously published work.
