Abstract
► Sawdust thin film electrodes present good mechanical stability and a wide electrochemical potential range. ► Film can quantitatively accumulate cationic compounds and not anions. ► Film provides a good environment for the electroanalysis of paraquat. ► We report a good sensitivity of these sensors towards the detection of paraquat.
