Abstract
► Glassy carbon electrode modified with carbon nanotube-ionic liquid nanocomposite. ► During electrooxidation of NAD+ on modified electrode a stable redox system, produced. ► Redox system shows excellent electrocatalytic activity toward NADH oxidation. ► NADH detected in the presence ascorbic acid, uric acid glucose and acetaminophen. ► With entrapment of alcohol dehydrogenase enzyme a stable ethanol biosensor fabricated.
