Abstract
⺠We propose a new method for the analysis of linear and cyclic siloxanes in water. ⺠The method is based on HS-SPME combined with GC-MS. ⺠The method provided good precision (RSD < 17%) and low LODs (0.01-34 ng Lâ1). ⺠The absence of matrix effect using the HS-SPME has been demonstrated. ⺠Siloxane concentrations ranging from 0.09 to 58.5 ng Lâ1 were found in river waters.
