Abstract
We introduced simple and inexpensive methodology to develop novel electrochemical sensors for the determination of Sudan II. The methods based on interaction of Sudan II with salmon sperm ds-DNA on the surface of salmon sperm ds-DNA-modified pencil graphite electrode and in solution phase plus at the surface of pretreated pencil graphite electrode. Sudan II as low as 0.00007 μg mL−1 could be measured using the last electrochemical sensor.
