Abstract
We introduced simple and inexpensive methodology to develop novel electrochemical sensors for the determination of Sudan II. The methods based on interaction of Sudan II with salmon sperm ds-DNA on the surface of salmon sperm ds-DNA-modified pencil graphite electrode and in solution phase plus at the surface of pretreated pencil graphite electrode. Sudan II as low as 0.00007 μg mLâ1 could be measured using the last electrochemical sensor.
