Abstract
► We test the chemical constitution of black coverings on PA6 roller. ► We examine the mounting of the PA6 transport roller. ► Wear debris of PA6 roller and iron fines will form the black coverings. ► The wear of PA6 is not caused by roller contact fatigue. ► Increasing the mounting angle of roller will accelerate its wear rate.
