Abstract
⺠We determined Cu, Mo, Sb in air particulate matter collected on glass fiber filters. ⺠We compared three sample preparation procedures. ⺠Analytical performance was very similar for the three procedures. ⺠Direct solid sampling was the fastest and environmentally most correct procedure. ⺠The ratio Cu:Mo:Sb â 4:1:1.4 indicates wear of brake pads as the source.
