Abstract
► Nanostructured conducting polypyrrole (PPy) gas sensor was used as GC detector. ► The PPy gas sensor exhibited linear responses to pyridine derivatives. ► The GC/PPy gas sensor described facilitates fast, determination of pyridines. ► Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction combined with gas GC/PPy gas sensor. ► The GC runs were completed in 4 min for extracted analytes from cigarette smoke.
