Abstract
⺠Consistent results on radii from SLS and DLS for “normal” DMPC and DMPG vesicles. ⺠In DMPG transition region, different from DSL, SLS indicates a huge vesicle growth. ⺠Though swollen in the gel-fluid transition region, DMPG vesicles are isotropic. ⺠Bilayer pores with superfluid rims explain huge radius increase. ⺠Non-Stokes viscous force on porous vesicles explains DLS/SLS discrepancy.
