Abstract
⺠Highly stable polymerized liposomes were structurally characterized by DSC and ESR. ⺠Polymerization of DC8,9PC:DMPC bilayer is much higher than that of pure DC8,9PC. ⺠The presence of cationic amphiphiles increases DC8,9PC:DMPC liposomes polymerization. ⺠A clear correlation between polymerization and bilayer rigidity was found.
