Abstract
⺠Binding of therapeutically important plant flavonoids to liposomes. ⺠Novel uses of 'two color' fluorescence of flavonoids to explore membrane binding. ⺠Extension of the research to RBC ghost membranes are exemplified. ⺠Spectrophotometric assays reveal powerful inhibitory effects on lipid peroxidations. ⺠Quantum chemical calculations validate the observed antioxidant effects.
