Abstract
⺠PLPC oxidation was induced by H2O2 in the presence or absence of CuCl. ⺠Using hydrazine chemistry and ESI-MS 26 reactive oxidation products were identified. ⺠Reactivity of nucleophilic amino acids towards lipid-derived carbonyls was studied. ⺠10, 9 and 3 lipid-derived adducts were identified on Lys, Cys and His, respectively. ⺠Lys and Cys showed the highest reactivity towards PLPC-derived reactive carbonyls.
