Abstract
⺠I explore aesthetics in science from the point of view of touch through an assembly of recent thinking on 3D models. ⺠Research from the history and philosophy of science, design and metaphysics are highlighted which relate to the materiality of models. ⺠I point to the value of an aesthetics of touch in revealing processes of science.
