Abstract
The CIE chromaticity diagram for 365 nm and 380 nm LED chip excited NaGd(1âx)(WO4)2:xEu3+ (x = 0.24) phosphor are shown in this Figure, and the photograph of the LED device is also embedded in the diagram as a reference. In addition, the relative CIE chromaticity coordinates for the NUV chip excited NaGd(1âx)(WO4)2:xEu3+ (x = 0.24) phosphor are marked by the red pot, which corresponding to the CIE coordinate (x = 0.45, y = 0.45) and (x = 0.36, y = 0.37), Ra is 80.3 and 86.3, Tc is 3196 K and 4556 K, respectively. The results indicated that this phosphor had potential application in LED, it can be excited by the UV and NUV LED chips.506
