Abstract
A novel BODIPY-based panchromatic chromophore BDP-dBDT was synthesized for small molecule organic solar cells (SM-OSCs). Processed by a combination of TA and SVA treatments to optimize the nanoscale morphology, the BDP-dBDT:PC71BM device exhibits a high PCE of 5.61% with a Jsc of 12.98â¯mAâ¯cmâ2 and a FF of 62%. This is one of the best values among the ever reported BODIPY based SM-OSCs.223
