Abstract
- The sonoluminescence spectrum of Na emission from surfactant solutions was investigated.
- The spectrum changed with the sonication time due to the decomposition of gases from the surfactant.
- The spectral profiles observed suggest two types of peaks: narrow lines and broadened lines.
- The narrow lines and broadened lines originate from the gas phase inside bubbles.
