Abstract
⺠We model an adhesive/adherent system under mismatch strain conditions. ⺠Asymptotic expansions and energy minimization give the thin film limit behavior. ⺠The limit behavior is described by a family of non-local imperfect interface laws. ⺠The laws are correlated with the mismatch strain and the film elastic properties. ⺠An example is given for pure homogeneous mismatch strain and isotropic film
